Based in the heart of England, Twycross Zoo (TZ) is an award-winning conservation charity and rapidly growing visitor attraction. What will this role of Sales Manager entail?
As the Sales Manager, you’ll lead the Sales team in maximising potential sales revenue and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and existing clients whilst pro-actively generating new sales opportunities, primarily membership sales and experiences such as animal encounters.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, you’ll produce and implement a strategy for the Sales department, and take responsibility for the Sales budget. You’ll have an impact on all departments by promoting a culture of ‘Everyone’s a Sales Person’ across the organisation.
You’ll set a brilliant example for your team, whom you’ll motivate, coach and line manage to be the best they can be and ensure a great customer experience is delivered.
Other duties will include monitoring and reporting performance against targets set by the business and contributing to the overall management and organisational development of the organisation.

As the Sales Manager you’ll receive a salary of £30,000, along with fantastic additional benefits including; 31 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank holidays), private healthcare, a staff membership card giving you free entry to the Zoo on your days off and discounts in our retail and food outlets, and free onsite parking.
Contract: Permanent, working 37.5 hours per week, predominantly Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, with the occasional weekend required.
Location: Atherstone, Warwickshire (on the A444, which is easily accessed via the A5 and the M42 Junction 11).
